According to the instructions that came with the vinyl it should wash and dry just fine. :0)

I did not know there was Fabric Vinyl.
Where did you buy Fabric Vinyl?

Sheryl,
Yes you can-it's called heat transfer vinyl. It's used with a heat press but also works with your home iron. I got mine from H&Hsignsupply.com. If you go to this blog, she has a free shipping code from them and LOTS of information on vinyl!

Thanks to Leslie and your video I finally placed an order at H&H.

My son has a project in mind and I want to make some items for my grandkids.

Thanks for the inspiration and info!

Thanks so much Denise. I wanted to try to make some kids gifts, but I was wondering how your vinyl held up in the wash? If I try this and I can do it...This will be so much fun. TFS!!!

Alison,
I have been washing these at least once a week since October and they still look great. I had to iron a couple of letters that were coming up around the edge once, but they stuck right back down and haven't come up since.
