I saw this box at dawnsstampinthoughts.typepad.com and decided to make a cut file. There was a lot of scoring and I'm a lazy crafter, so the file does the work for me. It's done with plantin schoolbook. It is tricky getting it to close the first couple of times, but then it gets easier. There are two sizes in the file. I filled the larger one with lottery tickets for my brother-in-law.

Thank you! Your blog post will be advertised on the DigiFree Blog Cutting Freebie search engine today (look for timestamp: 29 Nov [LA 02:00pm, NY 05:00pm, UK 10:00pm] - 30 Nov [OZ 09:00am]).
Thank you for creating this file -- what a neat little box!
Just wondering, how do you get the cricut to do the scoring? Won't it just cut through on those lines?
To score with your cricut you need to change your blade depth and pressure setting. You want the blade to just lightly "score" the surface of your paper. Try blade 1 pressure 2, or the other way around. The settings also depend on the paper thickness. Also, I put my metallic paper shiny side down on my mat, so the score lines wouldn't show on the outside.
Thanks very much for the scoring information Denise. I just recently discovered your blog and I love it -- your work is awesome! Thanks for sharing!
