Melinda Ford designed these fabulous cookie towers. http://stayathomemomcrafts.blogspot.com/2009/04/marthas-cookie-towers.html
I have given so many as gifts! She recently created the mini tower (holds about 6 cookies) so I thought a cute carrier would be great. Thanks to Melinda and all her help, I now have a link to download the file.
Here is a file for scal one. Some people have had trouble opening the original if they haven't upgraded to scal 2. If you haven't-you should! It's well worth the $30!!!

Sure wish I was sure I could handle SCAL - and knew it wouldn't be any issues with my Cricut/DS - Almost worth buying another E to try it - but already have an E and baby and 2 - DS programs-I am seeing so many cute things.

I have scal and ds and have never had any problems. I use both, but scal more. The updated version is awesome!
Hello. I'm having with the cookie box scut file. I'm able to download, but when I open the file, there's lots of overlapping squares and other shapes on the bottom of the box. It just doesn't look right. I'm using SCAL 2.004 & windows. Thanks for any help..
Lori,
The overlapping boxes are what make up the design. You are referring to the cookie tower, right, not the cookie carrier? If I remember correctly, I had to click on all of the boxes and click weld. What happens when you click the preview button? Are there cut lines around all the boxes? If so, try welding all the boxes. It'd Melinda's file, so maybe she would have another idea. Do you still have scal one on your computer? Open the file in that and see what happens. Hope this helps.
Lori,
I just went and checked my file. It does open funny in scal 2. I cut it in scal one. There are ds files available for the cricut with george and plantin, if that would help. I will try to contact Melinda and see if she can help too.
I did change the mat size to 12 x 24. This helped a little. I need to go back through and make sure I have everything welded. Thanks, Denise. I'll let you know.
Thanks-- I'll contact Melinda..
