Etched Lantern

This was a plain lantern I got at Lowes.
I etched all 4 panels, with etching cream.
It is very difficult to get a good picture of the etched glass!!!

I love working on these lanterns! You got yours at Lowe's? I am going to have to check out my local store to see if they have any. I've had to drive all the way to IKEA for mine. Great job Denise! Thanks for sharing!

I got them outside with the flowers, marked down to $6 for the large, and $3 for the small. They only had silver in the small though, and I didn't like them, although they could be painted easily.

Did you take the glass out to do the etching? This is really cute. I love so many of your ideas!

Pam,
I did take the glass panels out to etch them. They are just held in [place by little tabs, so it was easy to remove/replace them

Love these lanterns! Would you mind directing us to where we can find the file for the "The greatest of these is love". This is my favorite bible quote.

The words portion is a file I made. If you would like it just send me your email. The other images were from a cricut cartridge, but I can't remember which one off hand...
