I didn't know why some of the svg files I open were so large. Some of them were so large I couldn't work with them until I sized them down. Open scal, go to edit, preferences, then make sure svg dpi is set to inkscape. Then inkscape files will open at the same size they were created in. Maybe you already knew this, but I sure didn't!!!!!

Thank you! Your blog post will be advertised on the DigiFree Blog Cutting Freebie search engine today (look for timestamp: 19 Dec [LA 02:29pm, NY 05:29pm, UK 10:29pm] - 20 Dec [OZ 09:29am]).
I will be sure to fix this right away, I had no idea there was a fix and it has been rather annoying! Thanks a bunch!
Congratulations on making the Glue, Scissors, Paper Design Team. I'm looking forward to working with you Denise. I cannot tell you how much I love boxes, as you do. Your blog is filled with such an array of creativity that I had to start at the beginning - the boxes are my craft heaven. I have a cricut (the first one) but plan to build up one day (soon, I hope). I really love your creativity! ;D
GREAT tip! I never thought of that either. Thanks for passing it along! Merry Christmas!
Great tip. Do you know if you can convert your .cut files into svg files? And how to do that? I would love the cake file but can't open a .cut file. Thanks
