Barn Stars

I needed some barn stars, cheap!!!!  I cut these out of textured cardstock, scored and folded them, and gave them 2 coats of mod podge.  I am very pleased with how they came out.  I had them laying on my craft table and my daughter thought they were metal :0)  I will be making more!

Paper Ribbons-file and video

Here are some more paper ribbons for you. These are all just test cuts.  I haven't yet played with dressing them up.  I think maybe some thinner strips of paper mixed in, and possibly some curling ribbon.  I would love to see what you come up with!
I also put together a quick video.  There are a few issues with the video.  I used the built in microphone on my laptop and the sound is a little choppy.  The sound is also  little bit ahead of what you are seeing, so keep that in mind. Hopefully you can still follow it:0)

Teapot gift box

Isn't this the cutest "box"???? It's completely made of cardstock!  I bought the file from My Time Made Easy.  I hate to buy files, but I wanted this for a friend and I simply didn't have the time to figure this one out. It will hold a ton of tea bags, although this one is filled with chocolate :0)  It was a little tricky to put together with all of the curves, but it went pretty well for the first one.  I used hot glue which was probably not the best choice.  I'm going to try a different adhesive for the next one and will let you know.
