Wedding Card

click for larger view

My daughter-in-law's sister is getting married today.  The colors are navy and silver, with snowflakes.  Here is the card I made.  I put it together yesterday afternoon, last minute as usual.  But I actually love how it turned out.  The pictures aren't very good.  I didn't take the time (who has any right now?!!!) to get my lightbox out, and it is a dark morning here.  The paper looks black, but it is a sparkly navy.

I just started following your blog yesterday, and I am loving it!! My brother is getting married on Dec 30th, and this is beautiful!! What a FANTASTIC card and idea. Hope you dont mind, but I am totally scraplifting it for them. He is 29 and marrying his high school sweetheart, so we are all so excited it's happening. Thank you so much for sharing this!!

Denise - just lovely. Are the snowflakes glittered paper, or did you cut them then glitter them (my guess)? Absolutely gorgeous, and would make a wonderful Christmas card, too.

The snowflakes are plain paper punched with a martha stewart punch. I then ran it through my xyron sticker maker to put adhesive on it, and then applied the glitter. That way you get an even layer of glitter.
