I never thought I would make a carrot box, but these are just too cute! I used Melinda's svg for these, so I could resize them. These were cut at 3 per 12 x 12 page. I should have made them a little smaller-they were a little too big for the cuttlebug. I made it work though. I filled them with mm's.

Carrot Box
Quite a while ago I put together an icicle box for Melinda Ford.. She also intended for it to be used as a carrot box. I never got around to using it a carrot, which I was just reminded of. It was also requested that the svg file be made in a ds version. This accomplishes both!!!

Just checking in!!!!!!!
Hi everyone!!! Sorry I haven't posted. I am still here, I've just been super busy!!!! I promise I am working on things, some will be posting shortly. I do have to start the bridesmaids dresses for my son's wedding, though, so I may still be mia more than usual. I miss posting more frequently. I'll try to get my wedding projects done so I can get back to my normal schedule. I have lots of wedding things, but I don't want to post them until after the wedding! (June 5) Thanks for stopping by.

Creative Inspirations Paints
I finally got a chance to play with my new Creative Inspirations Paints.. I just made a couple of simple cards. I wish you could see all the shimmer-it's hard to capture it with a camera. They have 55 amazing colors! On thefirst card I used fuschia and citrus on the lollipops, fuschia on the brads and sentiment dots. I then covered them with crystal accents.
The colors are right in this photo. They are off in the next, but I was trying to pick up more of the shimmer. The brad and the scallops are painted, and then I made a "glimmer mist" with the fairy dust paint and sprayed the whole thing.

Weddings WIth The Cricut project
Today is my day over at Weddings with the Cricut. I did a Bridal shower centerpiece and favor. I designed this to use for my future dil's shower, but then we didn't do favors!!! I also have one for a baby girl shower that I will post soon. The ds file doesn't have the scallops along the bottom edge, but you could weld circles to it, or use an edge punch and add a strip. Head over to weddings with the cricut for the detaials and files. (svg, scut 2, and ds)

Corset card
I needed a card for a lingerie shower for my future dil. I remebered I had this file downloaded from some time ago, so I decided to try it. I love how it came out! It's a half fold card. I couldn't go too small or I wouldn't have been able to weave ribbon through the holes. The file is from suzeq4500 from the cricut mb. (Thank you for sharing this wonderful svg!) She made a stunning shadowbox frame with it. Mine's not as fancy as hers, but I still love it!!!

Heat Transfer Vinyl T-Shirt
My husband teaches an excercise class at our local Tae Kwon Do school (he is a black belt, and the school is my brother-in-laws). It is called "Boxercise"-it's a combination of Tae-bo, boxing, & calisthenics. It has been going really well and the class participants have requested t-shirts. This is what he came up with. We DO NOT work well together, which we both know (even after 22 years of marriage!!!) so it was interesting with me trying to show him how to use inkscape and scal2!!!!! He did a great job, and we finally got it done. He will be showing it to the class this week.

Bridal Shower
Hi everyone! I miss having projects to post-I've just been soooooo busy. I do have a project for Weddings with the Cricut, but it won't be posting until Friday, I believe.
My son's fiance is home from college this week, so we have been working on wedding plans. We finally nailed down the invitation and the favor, now we just have the centerpiece to finalize.
Her first shower was this past Sunday. We had 60 people, and she got a ton of beautiful things. It is so exciting watching them plan their life together!
Here are a few pictures from the shower. I don't do cakes, and this was my first experience with fondant! It went well though, and I was pleased with the cake. We didn't use any cricut for the shower though, which made me sad!
