Breast Cancer Walk T-Shirts

shirt back
I don't know why this pic is rotated!!!  I've tried to fix it and can't!

A good friend of mine asked me to make shirts for her team that is participating in a walk this Sunday. Her Mom passed away a year ago from breast cancer. I made 18 shirts!!!  That is the most I have ever done, and I have only made a few projects with HTV.  It wouldn't have been too bad, but I am having scal 2 issues at the moment.  For some reason my program keeps locking up in the middle of cutting.  It is driving me nuts.  I have to log off on my computer to unlock the program.  I am definitely going to get that fixed asap!!!!!  It made the job very frustrating.  I'm satisfied with the finished project though, so all's well that ends well!

  3. I had a similar issue with SCAL2. I'd be in the middle of a project, go to cut, and it would freeze and kick me out. I'd go back into it, and it wouldn't prompt to bring up the last project from not being closed properly. It WAS SUPER frustrating. Hope you get it worked out.

  6. Was wondering what process you used to do the t-shirts. They are so detailed with the white around the ribbon.

    Thanks :)

  7. Suz-
I used heat transfer vinyl and layered the pink and white. The white piece was the shadow layer with the pink ribbon ironed on top.

  8. I just found your blog and couldn't find a place to email you. But what machine do you use to do your shirts?

  9. You can email me through the "contact me" button at the top of my blog.
I used a cricut and the sure cuts a lot program and an iron for these shirts. I know have a heat press. The cricut is no longer compatible with sure cuts a lot. I will be trading my cricut in for a black cat lynx soon!

  10. I love you HTV shirts. You do an amazing job on everything I've seen. What is your favorite brand of HTV?

  11. Jaymee,
Siser Easyweed is my favorite htv.
    heattransferwarehouse.com and
hhsignsupply.com both carry it, and are great companies to deal with.
