Creative Inspirations Paints

Our challenge this week at Creative Inspirations Paints was to go 3-D.  I made a dry eraes tile.  The black is vinyl, and I filled in the shapes with creative inspirations paints.  I love how it turned out, however I am not sure how well the paint will hold up on the tile.  I wouldn't put the tile where anything would rub up against it.  It should be fine on my craft room wall though!

  1. Hi Denise! I popped in from the Cricut Message board to find out more about this project!

I assume this is a ceramic tile? How did you drill the hanging holes -- meaning did you use a drill press or a hand drill (scary!)? And, what kind of/size bit did you use?

Also, don't worry if you haven't got time to answer my questions! Just know that I think your "white board" is AWESOME!

  3. It is a 12 x 12 ceramic tile. My hubby drilled the holes with a tile bit and a hand drill. We are going to get a diamond tip bit to try. I have been told it will cut easier.

  7. Hi Jan. I'm still creating I promise. Life has just been crazy busy. My son got married on Saturday, and it was all diy, so that has kept me pretty busy. Then we had the ostrich to complete...I need to get my pictures together and start posting my wedding projects. Now its time for my daughters graduation. One of these days like will slow down, I hope. I miss posting!!!
