I saw this box at dawnsstampinthoughts.typepad.com and decided to make a cut file. There was a lot of scoring and I'm a lazy crafter, so the file does the work for me. It's done with plantin schoolbook. It is tricky getting it to close the first couple of times, but then it gets easier. There are two sizes in the file. I filled the larger one with lottery tickets for my brother-in-law.

ReplyDeleteJust wondering, how do you get the cricut to do the scoring? Won't it just cut through on those lines?
To score with your cricut you need to change your blade depth and pressure setting. You want the blade to just lightly "score" the surface of your paper. Try blade 1 pressure 2, or the other way around. The settings also depend on the paper thickness. Also, I put my metallic paper shiny side down on my mat, so the score lines wouldn't show on the outside.
