Glass Block Night Light

I made this for a baby shower.  A group of us went together to purchase the crib bedding.  I just happened to have a digital paper pack that matched the bedding, so of course I had to make something.   I printed my design on vellum, sprayed it with clear acrylic spray to protect the design,(it gave it a nice finish too) and used spray adhesive to adhere it to the block.  I really like how it turned out, and how quick and easy it was.  I will be using vellum again!
I added little silicone dots for "feet".  It made it sit nicely on a table.

Very creative, I am sure that they will love it. 2 questions what type of Spray did you use for to seal the velum and what type of adhesive spray did you use. I am still new to hybrid and I am always looking for great products to help. Thanks!

To seal the vellum I used Plaid brand Clear Acrylic Sealer-gloss.
The spray adhesive was Elmer's Craft Bond mulit-purpose spray adhesive. I purchased both in the craft section at Walmart.

This is an adorable gift! Can you tell me how you do the light part of the project? The blocks don't have a pre-cut hole do they? Are the lights from Home Depot and do they come with just the bulb and cord? Thanks for posting your cute gift idea.

I'd also like to know what light source you use doesnt look like the normal strands of 20 Chrictmas lights. What a great idea! Thanks For Sharing!
