I finally got my blog address changed to a .com. I've been wanting to do this for a while now, but didn't know how. I was afraid to try, because I didn't want to mess up my blog. So far so good!

Another Cake in a Box
My daughter has a slumber party to go to tonight. I asked her what kind of money holder she wanted, and of course she picked one that required the most effort! That's ok, it's one of my favorites too.
Unfortunately I forgot to photograph most of the Christmas gifts I made, that's why I haven't posted much lately. Hopefully now the holidays are winding down I will have more time to play!

EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT!!!! - (for me, anyway!!!)
I was selected to the new design team for Glue, Scissors, Paper. I am very excited, and a little nervous. This is completely new to me-I have never been on a design team before. I'm looking forward to the new experience, and am very grateful for the opportunity.

Glitter Ornaments
I really love this project. They are so simple and turn out so beautiful. I think I will probably do some every year. These are for my neices and nephews, and the kids I babysit.

These are 6 x 6 tiles made with a myvinyldesigner.com alphabet file. The vinyl is a dark burgandy, two of the tiles are white, another is off-white.

Church Bulletin Board-Christmas
Here is a simple bulletin board I did for the church foyer. The letters are vinyl, the ornaments and bottom border are wallpaper. It was a roll of heavy gold wallpaper on clearance at lowes for $1-it cuts beautifully! There is a lot of blank space because the congregation hangs Christmas cards on it. The church is decorated in a victorian theme this year. Sorry for the poor lighting, it was dark outside when I took the picture! I should have turned on more lights!

Monogram Frame
I scraplifted this from IGOTTHECRICUTBUG from the cricut message board. I saw her frames and just had to try it. The monogram is from myvinyldesigner.com. The monogram is sandwiched between 2 pieces of glass. I love how it turned out! I will be making more. The frame is from walmart, and my local hardware store cut me another piece of glass. Then my husband ran a bead of silicone glue around the back edge to hold the glass in the frame. Sorry I don't have more pictures. I forgot to take any, so my sil kindly took one before she packed for the trip home!

More Tiles
I did more of this tile. I love the 6 x 6, but it was a pain to weed!!! I posted these because I wanted to show how I finished them. I cut thin strips of vinyl to wrap the edges, applied adhesive cork to the backs, and used shank buttons to string the ribbon. Click for closer view
