I just wanted to wish everyone a verry happy Thanksgiving. I know I am blessed beyond measure, and sometimes I lose sight of that. Today is a great day for me to really count my many, many blessings!!! Have a great day everyone. I do have a few projects to post-but we are having christmas with visiting family tomorrow, and I don't want to post pictures before I give the gifts!

This is the hard hat he got when he worked on Extreme Makeover Home Edition. It was plain white. He started asking me questions about what I could cut with vinyl. The next thing I know he is showing me logos on the computer and asking me if the cricut could cut them. We used scal to do it. I told him all these companys should be paying him for the free advertising. I found the whole thing very funny. He said the guys at work are jealous!!! Oh, and his name isn't Skip-that's just what they call him. He's one of the youngest guys with the company.

I thought of doing these while I was doing the cake in a box. Just another way to give gift cards. :0)
Sorry for the blurry picture.

Here is my version. I do not like how this turned out. It looks like a combination wedding/baby shower box, and it's for a birthday!!!!! I do however, like the idea, and the way it comes together. I just need to use different paper. I didn't have much on hand, so I used what I had. I figured I should show the flops along with the one's I like.

There have been a lot of questions and confusion about opening scal(scut) files that have been downloaded. Here is a quick video showing how I do it. I apologize for the audio quality, I need a better microphone, but hopefully it will help.

My Thanksgiving garage door. I didn't get it centered very well-what else is new!!!!! I just noticed the "sgiving" isn't done in bold like the rest-oops!!! Guess I better fix that!!!!! I did Merry Christmas with holly leaves last year, but that was before I started taking pics of my work. I have a couple of ideas for Christmas, I just need to decide!

Melinda Ford from http://stayathomemomcrafts.blogspot.com/ designed this wonderful, versatile box! I didn't try it as a carrot yet, but I will for Easter. Make sure you check out her blog-she has awesome files to share! click for larger view
