Here is a smaller version of my wedding countdown. I think I like the larger version better. This didn't leave any room for any Christmas elements. I would have liked to put a tree or presents or something down the side.

This is in my kitchen. I have always had a tiny kitchen. Two years ago we did a big renovation and moved the basement stairs and tore down the wall between our kitchen and old living room. I now have a big, open kitchen I love! My DH did all the work. We never could have afforded to hire it done. He does great work, and I am so blessed to be married to him.

I saw a sign like this in the Country Sampler magazine, but it was $30. I went next door to my mil falling down pole barn(which we are going to tear down) pulled a piece of wood off the side, slapped 2 quick coats of paint on it, and cut the saying from almond colored contact paper using scal. I din't have any gold vinyl, so I just used card stock. I was very happy with how it turned out!

I decided to etch my name onto the dishes I take to church dinners & family dinners. The pie plates are pyrex and they etched beautifully. I had 2 other pyrex dishes that wouldn't etch though. You just have to try a small spot to see if it will or not.

My computer woes quickly took a back seat this past weekend. My best friends mom has been battling different cancers for many years. On Sat. they decided to stop fighting, and at 4pm she was moved to the hospice room of our local hospital. At 12:45am Sunday morning, she went home to be with Jesus. We NEVER expected it to be so soon, not even her Dr. She went peacefully, and it was a blessing she didn't have to suffer anymore, but such a shock. It has been a long week of dinners, calling hours, and the funeral. This is my second girlfriend to loose her mom this month!
I do have a couple of projects I will try to get posted later today. Thanks for stopping by!

Hi-I'm back! My laptop died on Friday. I didn't know what to do with no computer! My wonderful DH went shopping Sat. morning and got me a new one. Unfortunately we had a very busy weekend so he still doesn't have everything I need on the new one yet. But at least I'm back on-line and can use scal. Of course he has to call provocraft for a new ds registration number. He gets so mad at them!
This is a quick bulletin board I did at church this weekend promoting our kids program, which starts back up after summer break soon. Thanks for looking!

I made this card to go with the tile in the previous post. I really struggle with cards! Plus, this is a half fold card, which I find harder than the a2. This took so much longer than it should have! I can never decide "which I like best"! I guess I'm happy with it. It doesn't show in the photo, but the papers are pearl finish.

This is a large bulletin board (4x8) in the foyer of our church. I made this board to match the funeral program. The program was created in word. I was able to take the flourishes from word into scal and cut the boarders to match the program. It was the first time I had tried this, and it worked great.

Church Spring Rally banner done on a large sheet of craft paper. I used painters tape to transfer the vinyl.
